The piece is a synthesis of choreographic material and poetic stories of very personal and intimate confrontations with (self) control which thereby creates divergent spaces of perception. Through a workshop format, the performative convention that separates the artist and the audience blurs in order to create a space which manifests through its occupation. In this line, occupation can be both understood as a coexistence of bodies and objects in this space and time configuration, but also as a macrostructure of actions and interactions that compose this coexistence. In other words, in how the members of the space are kept busy and perform labour throughout the duration of a performance.
