Retrospective
Ecology of Occupation
Workshop/Performance
Retrospective: ecology of occupation is an installation and a durational participative performance. Through a workshop format, the performative convention that separates the artist and the audience blurs in order to create a space which manifests through its occupation. In this line, occupation can be both understood as a coexistence of bodies and objects in this space and time configuration, but also as a macrostructure of actions and interactions that compose this coexistence. In other words, in how the members of the space are kept busy and perform labour throughout the duration of a performance. In this frame, a piece is being composed and an ephemeral and collective event emerges.
