Signing a contract is a performance. An official document is a score. A signature is a choreographic gesture. A ceremony of friendship is a regulation of the private. And working together is a social entity.
On February 13th, 2017 Kimberly Kaviar GbR was officially founded as a civil law partnership under German law. It was a surprise performance, part of the Documentation and Communication Module at HZT Berlin.
Friends, colleagues, authorities, lawyers, musicians, dancers met during a specific time and space frame, agreeing on an existance, which already started years ago.
A foundation as a celebration of togetherness: the secret joy of bureaucracy.
